RT-100
Emergency Receiver
Key Facts:
- Long range because of high reception sensitivity
- Simple operation
- Avoidance of false alarms thanks to selective squelch function
- Integrated loudspeaker and audio output for external loudspeakers
- Robust and waterproof design
The RT-100 Emergency Receiver (also known as "CrewGuard") monitors the international emergency frequency 121.500 MHz. The monitoring receiver will sound an audible alarm when it receives a signal on this frequency. At the same time, a relay contact closes, which can be used to control external alarm devices.
If the "selective squelch" function is activated, the alarm is only given if an emergency transmitter (ELT, PLB or EPIRB) transmits the signal. This prevents false alarms caused by interference signals or radio messages from aircraft that misuse this frequency as a call frequency.
Features
“Man overboard!”
Every emergency is discovered.
Automatic activation alerting rescue services in emergencies at sea (Man Overboard) and on land by monitoring the international emergency frequency!
Keep your crew safe and connect to existing alarm systems
Activated external alarm devices with selective squelch. An alarm is only triggered if the signal is received from an emergency transmitter (ELT, PLB, or EPIRB). This function eliminates the possibility of false alarms from interference or from aircraft misusing this frequency for voice communication.
