The RT-202 “CrewFinder” is a compact MOB (man overboard) radio direction finder for the operation on emergency frequency 121.500MHz. It allows localization and fast recovery of persons or vessels in distress by triggering an alarm when the distress signal is detected. The system is used by search and rescue organizations and widely used in offshore oil & gas sector for establishing safety around offshore platforms. The direction finder RT-202 is distinguished by its ease of operation and high reliability.
No matter the conditions, in a "man overboard" situation, the target can be found quickly and safely.
With its rugged construction, it allows for precise tracking and locating of individuals who have fallen into the water. Whether in rough seas, extreme weather, or challenging maritime environments, the RT-202 ensures accurate and swift detection, providing crucial assistance in rescuing those in distress.
Be ready for the Distress Call
With the RT-202's training mode on the designated frequency (121.650MHz), crews can simulate realistic scenarios and practice their SAR techniques to gain valuable experience, build confidence, and be better equipped to handle actual SAR missions with utmost efficiency and effectiveness.
