SME SIGNS CONTRACT WITH CANADIAN COAST GUARD to deliver the RHOTHETA RT-500-M

The Canadian Coast Guard has awarded Seacoast Marine Electronics to supply the Rhotheta RT-500-M Marine Direction Finder System. Over the next 2 to 3 years, the CCG will be replacing the ageing Radio Directions currently installed on the fleet.

The Rhotheta RT-500-M is a comprehensive Radio Direction-finding solution for SAR applications at sea.

This universal multi-band direction finder operates on all frequency bands used for rescue missions and the brilliant TFT display conveniently displays bearing information and operating parameters.

From SME offices in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Maple Ridge, B.C. and St Catharine’s, ON, Seacoast Marine Electronics Ltd. provides sales and service on commercial marine electronic navigation, communication and VSAT / IT Services.
