smartDF is an iPadOS application designed for monitoring Rhotheta RT-600 airborne V-UHF direction finders over a Bluetooth® Low Energy (BLE) link. smartDF is compatible with RT-600-A and RT-600-L models. The App relies on built-in GPS/GNSS, compass, and accelerometer sensors in the iPad. All information available from the DF is conveniently displayed over maps with state-of-the-art graphics.

Narrow down the Search
SmartDF will automatically generate a search area with a minimum of two using user entered Lines of Bearings (LOBs). Quickly reduce your search area by adding additional LOBs and triangulate to your target.
